Super Awesome Update

Hello Members of Super Awesome! Time for an official Super Awesome Update, make sure you read through the whole thing so you know all the awesome things that are happening in our Co-op.

Donations: As you all know Donation Day was this past Saturday, most of you donated, but there are still a few of you who haven’t. So make sure to get your donations in before this next Saturday.

Research: Our Current Research is: Gourmet Recipes: Clean Cut (Level 4), we still need 10 more researchers, so if you have not signed up, please do so ASAP. Also thanks to all of you who have already signed up for the research.

Projects: We are currently working on The Complete Movie Experience! (Corn), after that we will do Cheesed Off! (Milk), after that it will be Dandelion Hero! (Wild Flowers & Dandelions), then it will be Patty Cake, Patty Cake! (Milk, Wheat, & Cherries), and then it will be Chicken or the Egg? (Eggs & Chicken Feed).

Co-op Party: We will be having a Co-op Christmas Party on January 3rd, 2015 from 5pm EST to 10pm EST. So pop in, say Hello to everyone and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I will be giving away some gifts and maybe others will to. It will be fun, that I know for sure. 🙂

Co-op Meeting: On January 6th (a Tuesday), at 8pm EST (7 CST), we will be having a Co-op Meeting. A co-op meeting takes place in the chat, and anyone who wants to may attend. Here are the things we will be discussing: 2015 Co-op Goals, Possible New Deputy, Player of the Week, Co-op Events.

Notes: I also just want to let you know I am gonna be rather busy over the next month, I will of course still be on my farm often, just not as often as I am now. Remember if you ever need to get in touch with me just send me a message, and I will always reply.

Hello Everyone!

So my Members of Super Awesome, for the longest time I haven’t wanted to post on our blog. You might be wondering why? Well the answer is simple, I didn’t even want to come on here, because it reminded me of the co-op we used to be.

You see, Super Awesome has been through quite a lot the past few months, we’ve gone through a lot of changes. And I didn’t like those changes at first. Something you should know about me is I am not good with new people, but once I get to know you, I get easily attached. Which is one of the reasons I get so upset when members who have been here awhile leave.

So when many of my members left, I had to find new members, which is a very hard thing to do if you didn’t know. You can send out 50 invites and your lucky if one person accepts. However, the deputies and I managed to get a lot of new members. But I worried, because I knew things wouldn’t go back to the way they were. And they didn’t, instead though things got even better than before. 🙂

I have talked to quite a few of our new members, (and of course the members who have been here for quite a while), and you know you guys are AMAZING. You really are what puts the Awesome in Super Awesome.

I love how you don’t all talk, but when we need you guys you come through. I loved watching you all get excited about the Co-op Missions Event. It makes me so happy when your all talking in chat about how the Project is going. They might seem like little things to you, but to me it shows that we as a Co-op are doing pretty good.

Now even though the co-op has been doing well, doesn’t I am doing well. For a while I felt like I am being a rather terrible leader because I haven’t been doing a lot of my leader duties, those being updating this blog and keep track of donations and stuff like that. So when I am feeling that way, I send messages to some of my members, and I ask them, what do you think the co-op? Do you like it here? Is there anything that needs to change?

And so far, from the people that have responded, they all have said pretty much the same thing, they really like it here, and they don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. So when I hear that, I know I must be doing a pretty good job, of course I am not doing it alone. My amazing Deputies: Nola, Sandra, and Curt do a lot, and I couldn’t do it without them.

Now as I finish up this long post (sorry bout that) I want to tell you, that sometimes I think it might just be easier to give up, I think maybe I’d be better off not being a leader. But then I remember that I have worked to hard, to do that. We might have had some really rough spots, but we’ve had some pretty incredible moments to, and I know there are so many more to come. After all we are now less then 3 months away from being 2 years old, that is a big achievement.

So you know, as long as you guys don’t give up one me, I promise I won’t give up on you. We’ve made this co-op great, so lets not stop until everyone knows that we are a Super (meaning: very good) Co-op filled with Awesome (meaning: extremely impressive) people.

We are Super Awesome, and even if we tried, we couldn’t be anything less. 😀
